What is ROAD to Windows?  Remote Online Assistant & Diagnostics (ROAD) is the path we use to get ourselves in front of your PC via the Internet.  You grant us control of your desktop, and we troubleshoot your problem and run utilities to optimize your PC up to peak performance levels.  It's important to understand there are some limiting factors - your PC hardware may need upgrading or repairs.  If this is the case, our technician will suggest some possible remedies to you - but it's your responsibility to see the upgrades or repairs get done.

OK, I'm interested in trying out the ROAD to Windows, what do I need to do?  You'll need to become a paid subscriber.  Fees are based on the level of service you want.  One-time evaluations are available at nominal cost (ask our adviser).  This allows us to determine the approximate "horsepower" of your PC, so that we can work closely with you to give you realistic expectations and real honest results.  Some of the factors that affect your system performance include the CPU (processor), amount of installed RAM memory,  speed of hard disk drive, hard disk controller type (single or RAID), hard disk cache, speed and memory installed on video card, operating system (32 versus 64 bits) and much more.

Our most effective results come from cleaning up garbage which may be slowing down your system, and setting up important critical support tasks including periodic automatic cleaning, flushing Internet cache, adequate Anti-virus and installation of some third-party utilities that impact performance, particularly defragmenting.  Many of our users report their systems perform MUCH better after Leadersoft maintenance than before.  (Your mileage may vary, results are not guaranteed)
